Paul McDaniel is the President and General Manager of Trivest Construction, Inc. Paul graduated  from the Univeristy of Memphis with a BS in Civil Engineering. He worked as a field engineer for Alen O'Hara in Memphis, Tennessee. He moved to Atlanta, learned estimating and project management at Piedmont Engineering and Construction where he estimated and managed over 3000 multi-family units

Mr. McDaniel then started a career in commercial construction with general contractors in the Atlanta area. He managed projects that included; high rise elderly housing (14 stories), office building, retail shopping centers, with grocery store anchors, corporate offices for Republic Airlines and Liberty Mutual, gymnasium/field house at Valdosta State University, Atlanta Plaza (38 floors, 1.2 million SF office space and parking deck) along with other office buildings. Mr. McDaniel then moved to the owner's side of construction and worked for Marriott were he built over 500,000 square feet of hospitality space and W.H. Smith which allowed him to build high end retail space in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and all major cities in the contiguous United States. He has also managed the construction of over 2200 assisted living and dementia care units in the Southeast.

James P. Cornell - Project Manager

James Cornell began his construction career in high school Vo-Tech Welding and Industrial Arts. Working as a welder building pre-engineered steel buildings, he quickly learned what a structural steel building consists of. He then moved to a modular housing company and was Crew Chief of the siding department. This fast-paced production line position honed his team-spirit work ethic. Backed with the building and welding experiences, he has held certifications including:

 

  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector

  • FDOT Prestress Plant Inspector

  • Floor Flatness + Floor Levelness (FF+FL)

  • AIA Inspector

  • Ladder Safety

  • OSHA 30 hour

  • GSWCC Level 1A

  • Forklift + Crane operator

  • Hilti Instructor

 

His project experience includes over 2 million square feet of class A office buildings. Also over 75,000 sq.ft. of Commercial Kitchen/ Servery renovations. 


Scott Anderson - Design Architech - Residential Special Needs Design

Scott is a CAPS (Certified Aging In Place Specialist) architect with 35 years experience in the residential design and construction market.  For the last 10 years, Scott has focused exclusively on clients with special needs by creating the “Better Living Design” division within Trivest Construction.  He continuously researches new universal design features; attends regional, national, and international conferences; and works with medical professionals to design barrier-free home modifications that target each individual’s abilities.
